Hello From Levelock

Hello Fellow Postmasters,

Luckily, I was able to get away for a few weeks for the final Visa interview in Bangkok, Thailand for our little boy, Tawan.  My wife adopted the abandoned, one week old boy, at the day care center where she worked before we were married. It has taken many years of applications, interviews and fees, but the Visa has finally been approved. He is now an Alaskan.  We got home one week ago now, and he has been all smiles ever since.  But I believe the biggest smile came ( and large eyes) with his first ride in a small airplane ( cherokee ) when the pilot took a very sharp left turn on the final approach for landing.  Now today, back at work, looking out the window and seeing Tawan and the rest of the family planting and watering flowers in front of the Post Office, It's a very good feeling.  It's a good feeling to be back home and having the ordeal behind us.

Hope you all enjoy the summer and don't have to work too many extra hours each week.
